Bilona Ghee Preparation

Bilona Ghee Preparation

How Bilona Ghee is good for us

Bilona ghee is prepared by traditional Indian method. This method has been used by our forefathers to extract fat from milk in a way that uses less heat and hence the nutrition of such ghee is preserved naturally. Ghee has almost zero trans fat. Trans fat is harm full for the body and hence the lesser the better.

Bilona Ghee making Step by Step process

The steps used in bilona method are:

  1. Milk is boiled and then allowed to cool down to around 45 degree celcius.
  2. Curd culture is then applied to this milk and allowed to sit over night.
  3. The next morning this curd is then churned. While churning cold water is added to the curd for extraction of butter and better chunks formation.
  4. This butter is then collected and set in a different pot.
  5. This butter is heated to make clear golden ghee.
  6. This ghee is then filtered to clear all impurities from the ghee.

Rest assured if you are using pure ghee then you will definitely see an improvement in your cholesterol level compared to when consuming seed oils and refined oils.

Health is a work of a lifetime, you do not see immediate changes, but right choices will definitely increase your life span, which you may not even realize unless and proper lifetime study and comparison is made. So, instead of just believing anything the internet says, STOP and think for yourself, something that is made naturally and by a method used since ages, without any industrial process is good for you or not.
